About Us
Quality Coaching was founded in 2006 by Chris Kelly (Principal). Chris was keen to engage both girls and boys in sport, through a range of activities as opposed to just football. Reducing obesity levels, developing self-esteem amongst girls, and reducing teen pregnancy have been some of the key motivators for Chris's hard work and dediaction to Consistent Quality Coaching! Chris realised early in his football career that his real passion lied in coaching, and that his skills were in high demand. After delivering multi-sports as part of an extended schools program he quickly recognised that quality coaches were required to accelerate children's learning further. Continuing his ethos to "never let a child down", Chris brought other P.E teachers into the academy to deliver Consistent Quality Coaching.
The academy was born in 2006 to develop sports initiatives with primary schools. Chris is 100% committed to establishing Quality Coaching as one of the leading sports development companies with the UK. He personally selects all of the academy staff, and he designs, implements and manages all coaches' development courses.
After studying Sports Science and Business for many years at university, Chris affirms, "...the wellbeing of every child is of paramount importance! I wanted to make an immediate impact on society, and what better way to do that other than through sports and children?"
Quality Coaching now educates thousands of children each week, delivering high quality teaching and learning through a range of P.E, music lessons, language lessons (French, Spanish, Italian, etc), martial arts and much more!
They have a team of experienced and knowledgeable teachers who all have a range of expert qualifications including QTS. Lessons are delivered through school timme PPA cover and extended schools activities in primary and secondary schools across the UK, namely South East England.
They also work with children's centres, youth groups, summer universities, pupil referral units and anyone else who feels they can benefit from our creative teaching services.
Chris believes that there is a lot more to quality teaching than getting children to keep fit and healthy; it provides children with a divine insight into life, helps them to develop transferable skills, and provide them with intellectual challenges, that will help them to reach their full potential, in whatever it is they choose today.
